ThreatLogix is primarily used by Company Security Officers (CSOs) and Ship Security Officers (SSOs) in commercial shipping. However, it can also benefit other organizations involved in maritime transportation, particularly P&I Clubs, financial institutions, yachts and ports. It may be beneficial to any party interested in risk management assessments for ships.
- Helps SSOs - gets the information to them without having to go through additional layers of bureaucracy. (Gets them the direct information they need without having to go through CSO.)
- Helps CSOs/ship owners - provides the ability to delegate authority of creating threat assessment reports to SSOs.
- Helps P&I Clubs – promoting or offering ThreatLogix as a service to clientele reduces exposure, thus assisting in the reduction of claims
- Helps financial institutions – aids in assessing the risk associated with existing or potential shipping clientele.
- Helps yachts – helps them prepare for piracy and other risks associated with a particular voyage.
- Helps ports – aids in assessing the risk associated with incoming ships based on their itineraries.
